Millions of voters across Scotland are turning out today to have their say in the Scottish parliamentary elections.
Covid-19 has meant this has been an election period unlike any other, and polling day is no different, with strict rules in place to keep people safe and maintain social distancing, even as people visit polling places to cast their votes.
There’s one tradition, however, that even the pandemic – or the terrible weather – can’t put a dampener on, and that’s #DogsAtPollingStations.
Undoubtedly one of the best parts of any election day in recent years, voters have been bringing along their four-legged friends as they cast their vote, and taking plenty of snaps so we can all enjoy the cuteness.
So we thought what better way to warm our hearts on this cold, rainy polling day than by sharing some of the adorable snaps of polling dogs that we’ve spotted.
