Do you know someone who has had that ‘lightbulb moment’ – a brilliant idea that could have a significant impact for social good, but they are struggling to find time or resources to progress their idea?
Kent Community Foundation is looking to provide funding to support ideas that will make a considerable difference to the community.
The new ‘Out of the Ordinary Fund’, which launched this month, will allow time, space and resource for innovation.
The ideas can be small or large but must be something new and bold.
The Martello Fund, administered by Kent Community Foundation, has launched the Out of the Ordinary Fund specifically to encourage experimentation and enterprise.
Catalyst grants up to £5,000 are being offered to individuals seeking support to investigate, focus on, or incubate their idea.
Potential grantees should be nominated by a third-party organisation that knows them, and their idea well.
Natalie Smith, Director of Grants and Impact, Kent Community Foundation, said: “Kent Community Foundation is very excited by this new Fund, which we believe has the potential to develop some really great ideas, that could have a huge impact for social good.
“Nominations from third party organisations, who know the potential grantee well, are open now and applications are open until Friday, February 21.”
If you’d like to find out more, are interested in being nominated or would like to nominate someone to receive a grant from this dynamic new fund, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that applications close on Friday, February 21.
