After months of anticipation, Disney’s new look Glasgow store has finally opened it’s doors to the public.
The pop-up is back at Glasgow Fort for the first time since 2017 – and it’s had a magical overhaul.
The newly opened store can be found opposite Boots inside the shopping centre and is stuffed full of official merchandise from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.
Shoppers visiting the 2,195 sq. ft shop will be welcomed by one of Disney’s expert staff – known as cast members – who are on hand to help Disney fans pick from items inspired by this year’s biggest films, including The Lion King and Toy Story 4.
Mike Stagg, General Manager of Disney Stores Europe, said: “We’re really pleased to be bringing Disney Store back to Glasgow Fort. We’ve heard from our fans that they’ve missed having a Disney Store in this area so we’re looking forward to bringing back the magic.
“Guests can find exclusive Disney favourites along with the latest Toy Story and The Lion King ranges, as well as all things Star Wars, Disney Princess and Marvel. Disney Store remains the number one destination for families and gift givers to experience that Disney magic and we look forward to welcoming guests in-store.”
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “Our aim is to be the best place for shopping, dining and leisure in Scotland which means offering our visitors a wide and diverse choice of great brands. The relaunch of Disney certainly helps us to do that.
“It was extremely popular when it was last here in 2017 and, with an even bigger range now on offer, I’m sure this pop-up will go down just as well.”
